Vintage 40s Heavy Duty Solid Wood Steel Banded Crate "JB 12-95" Inscription

Vintage (possibly antique) solid wood crate, with heavy duty construction and simple pyrographic JB 12-95 inscription on handled ends - Handles are inset ovals within the wood - Longer sides are bare and clean - So many cool ideas on how to utilize this fantastic piece - Condition: Very clean, with charming patina and signs of age and wear; when I got this, it had paint splashes on the side which I sanded down just enough to remove the paint but maintain the Vintage character - Inscription does not refer to a date, since the construction of this box is obviously much older since it is made of steel banding and hard pine (not the thin flimsy pine wood of crates and pallets of modern times) - If you happen to use it to storage gallon size jugs of water, it works perfectly (plastic jugs are so ugly). As you can see from photos 5-6, you can't even see the jugs inside the crate - Note: Cannot be Bundled due to weight Circa: 1940s
