Description

This is a large CAPTAIN STAG cast iron Dutch oven. Inner diameter 30cm, depth 13cm.
After using it a few times, it was coated with vegetable oil and stored for a long time. For this listing, I removed burnt-on food and oil stains, and repeated seasoning with vegetable oil for 2 days, 4 times.
It got a little sooty and isn't fully seasoned, but it's clean now. I believe if you remove the soot and repeat the process about 3 more times, it will look completely different. They say that by avoiding detergent and washing with hot water and a scrub brush, then seasoning with vegetable oil, you can prevent rust and create a black pot that is less prone to burning.
