Beautiful vintage Japanese lusterware sugar bowl with matching lid, produced by The Takito Company and dating to approximately the 1920s–1930s Art Deco era. Features a striking iridescent periwinkle blue and peach luster finish accented with delicate hand-painted white cherry blossoms and black branches. The double handles and coordinating lidded design give this piece a wonderful Art Deco look. Bottom is marked “Hand Paint – Made in Japan” with the Takito-style double diamond mark.
