Vintage Heavy Duty Butcher's Machete / Lamb Splitter with Wood Handle

A serious piece of vintage butcher's equipment. This lamb splitter has the weight and build of a tool made to last, with a solid wood handle secured by three rivets and a thick metal blade.  No maker's mark or brand stamp found on the blade or handle.  Condition Gently used with minor wear. Some surface rust on the blade and light discoloration on the wood handle. Nothing that can't be cleaned up with steel wool and oil. The handle is solid, no cracks or loose rivets.
